Since 2020, CNES has been offering SMEs a product and/or service certification covering a wide range of space-related activities. The objective? To promote SMEs in the space field in order to “enhance their excellence in this field”.

This year, TRAD received 2 certifications!

Awarded for 3 years to companies that have proven their ability to « develop a product with seriousness and provide a quality engineering activity and meet needs “, with a TRL (Technology Readiness Level)  ≥ 6 and which possess economic development potential ».

The SME certification label is awarded to the company TRAD for the following services/products:

• Radiation engineering, qualification and tests of equipment, components and materials for radiation effects
  • Radiation engineering, analysis and R&D studies
  • Test Bench development and realization of test campaigns and radiation tests
  • Qualification for radiation effects
  • Provision and operation of irradiation test facilities

• Software products for dose calculation and radiation environment
  • OMERE: free software dedicated to the space environment and radiation effects on electronic components
  • FASTRAD: 3D modeling and advanced analysis software for radiation doses and shielding optimization
  • RAYXPERT: 3D modeling and dose rate calculation software using the Monte Carlo method

This certification enables TRAD to further assert its expertise.
